I am a lifelong Portlander who cares deeply about our great city, and I am running to help all who live here build a better life.
This new form of government represents a unique chapter in Portland’s history. Portlanders are looking for change and for more say in city government. As your city leader, I will use the active listening and consensus-building skills I have honed over the past 30 years as a community lawyer to bring about a more vibrant and resilient city. I will proactively seek out your priorities, listen to your concerns, and collaborate with people across the city to develop the innovative solutions needed to help Portland reach its full potential.
I believe that campaigns should be local and free of money influence. I don’t accept donations from corporations or wealthy, out-of-state CEOs. Nor will I ask for matching funds that could instead go toward city services. Mine is a grassroots campaign run by the people of our community. It’s a campaign that reflects my vision for my service as a city council member, which is to give a voice to all who live in this district and fight for the issues this community cares about the most.
